Project idea

The proposal for the STU is based on a simple and regular approach, sensitive to the construction context, which will make it possible to meet the following objectives: recover the central empty space, providing it with greater geometric regularity, strengthen the use of outdoor spaces, improve operation and the relationships between existing buildings.

Project description

Due to the changes in level by the slopes of the land, the starting point of the proposal was the leveling and structuring of the land, in only three levels of equal heights. The incorporation of the new building, made up of a block and a glass box, urban scale, sober and modern, through its spatiality, new activities and services, allows functional flexibility, establishes new links and optimizes the operation of the built buildings.

Technical information

The building is resolved with a reinforced concrete structure, a modular system of crossed slabs with beams in two directions. The materials used are Reinforced Concrete, steel, glass and wood.
