Project idea

The selected location for the proposed construction of the family house is in the Old Town in Bratislava. The land is in the Royal Valley on a sloping terrain facing south. The proposed family house aimed to blend the building with the surroundings. The design of the villa has maximum transparency and openness in the social area on the ground floor. The entire south facade on the first floor is glazed and, together with the terrace and infinity swimming pool celebrates the fantastic view over the city. The wide cantilevered floor above protects from the weather and excessive sunlight.

Project description

The design of the family house has the character of a modern town villa. Due to the slope, the villa has three floors. The house consists of one underground floor, two above-ground floors, which are let into each other by half-floor.
The overall architectural solution of the building is on the need to get as close as possible to the character of the surroundings and does not disturb the urban expression of the locality. The facade and roof will be color and material adapted to blend in with the surrounding nature.

Technical information

The foundation structure is designed as a concrete foundation slab. The entire structure is made of reinforced concrete. The walls are 200mm thick and transfer the load into the foundation slab. The floor slab is made of reinforced concrete with a thickness of 200mm.
