Project idea
The HYBRID Development of Transport Terminals in Kosovo remains the functional category of the Studio's treatment of hybrid economic developments or mixed-use developments. The project in the operational forms of human experience is also guided by a design philosophy that treats Sustainability as an integral part of human satisfaction - Hedonistic Sustainability – as well as an architecture integrated in and with the nature – Biophilic Architecture. The Project idea is supported with thematic lectures which explore specific topics within the main architectural design theme - “BIOINSPIRATION & THE QUEST FOR TECTONIC NOVELTIES IN WOOD – STRUCTURE AS ARCHITECTURE - ARCHITECTURE AS STRUCTURE & THE REVIVAL OF ORNAMENT”
Project description
Structure has been essential element of organization, where architecture is equal to structure and structure is equal to architecture. Structure has been part of thinking since the beginning of the concept so it is the task of the architect to give life a gentler structure.
