Project idea

Located between a dense tree grove and a lush front lawn leading to the sea, the project includes trees. Tall grass occurs around and inside the elements of the sea, horizon, sky, and western sun. Twisted piles on which the ground rests imitate the shape of the forest
It combines the natural elements of this barrier island into an architectural form.

Project description

One of the most important features of the project is its full integration into the environment.
It was enough for us to keep the existing trees in the area and it does not exceed the landscape, which has become an organic extension with minimally noticeable height of the buildings.
the project also reflects an environmental ethic; lifting it from the ground, it was made to touch the site very lightly which provides a free open space where you don't feel the presence of the concrete structures in a dense way.
the desire to design these residences is to increase the efficiency of the design and to do it in an ethically and aesthetically acting way
and the ability to find ways to redesign what is possible in the area of an integration between architecture and nature.

Technical information

The housing units are only made of 2 and 3 floors samples, where the main elevator and stairs are placed in the middle allowing the structure to be based on the heart of the units themselves and giving the residents the feeling of living into a treehouse. the materials used are concrete and timber, completely sustainable materials because the aim is always to integrate the project into nature. Solar panels as well were used and upon every unit. Of course with keeping the direction always to the south. In addition to using solar energy, the panels allow the rainwater to follow a designed path for it to water the surrounding garden which gives us a more clear version of the sustainable aim of the project.
