Project idea

the project responds to the need for a city such as Palermo for an auditorium and a green space on which to stop. It is also located in an archaeological park of considerable importance in the city

Project description

the building is made up of three cubes connected by glass walkways. the central cube, which houses the auditorium, is rotated 30 degrees. the rotation of the cubes and the height conform to the surrounding landscape and the waterfront

Technical information

the building is composed of a bearing structure of metal beams and a wooden cladding. The three cubes are shielded by ventilated facades and connected by self-supporting structural glass walkways
