Project idea

Our idea is to revitalize the area of the cultural amphitheater by proposing different interventions, in the area of the amphitheater and in the nearby area, in order to provide a character of relevance to the inhabitants, being able to carry out different recreational, cultural and educational activities.

Project description

Based on the terrain provided and a previous analysis, we decided to incorporate immediate sectors to it and propose developing different activities that may favor the operation of the sector. All the proposed activities collaborate with the set of buildings proposed for the CDC, which separates the show and educational activities. In the set of proposed buildings we propose an avoidant duality between heavy and light, where the antitheater building is characterized by being the only one developed with elements that give it this character of being lighter, virtual, contrary to the other buildings that we propose as large heavy prisms.

Technical information

We propose buildings With a reinforced concrete structure and earth walls, which is typical in the area and works perfectly with the weather, on the roofs we propose light roofs with metal structures, which serve to collect and redirect rainwater. In the virtual element we make use of wood in its envelope.
