Idea projektu

The MEGAHILL project responds to the critical need within contemporary cities for multifunctional spaces that seamlessly integrate living, culture, and connection. Urban life today faces significant fragmentation: public spaces are isolated, social interaction is limited, and residential areas often lack cultural resonance. Traditional housing structures typically prioritize privacy over community, resulting in disconnected inhabitants and missed opportunities for shared creativity.

The MEGAHILL project offers an integrated architectural solution that redefines the interaction between living, cultural, and public spaces in a dense urban environment. The concept is realized through a bold architectural form : an urban pyramid. It stands as a new visual and cultural landmark. The lower levels are designed as inclusive public zones that support dining, learning, recreation, and cultural exchange, fostering openness and community engagement. The upper floors combine residential and semi-public spaces that encourage communication and collaboration among residents. A central inner courtyard opens vertically through the structure, serving as a source of natural light, airflow, and social interaction. The exterior staircase acts as a symbolic and functional connector, linking all levels and activating the façade.

Technické informace

The MEGAHILL building is made of reinforced concrete, which provides the structure with durability, stability, and fire resistance. This material choice also defines the building’s aesthetic, aligning it with the principles of Brutalist architecture—raw, expressive, and functional.
