Idea projektu

The design of the architectural and urban concept of the STU Campus was based on the analysis of the needs of the students of the Campus. Additionally, the entire concept was based on detailed analyses of the immediate surroundings of the area under development. Each designed element has been carefully considered and is intended to improve the standards and well-being of both students and the community as a whole. The concept started with the enlargement of the underground parking lot after the revitalization of the entire square and construction of the new Laboratory building. The first step was to create sensible communication to ensure the best possible connection between all entrances. Pedestrian paths separated the zones, creating special places for relaxation and concentration or for work and study. The next step was to create solids of the objects and to create the leading color - red, which refers to the colors of the university logo and which leads the viewer through the entire square.
