Idea projektu

This project is situated in Mirdiff City Centre, Dubai, UAE. The main concept in this project was carving different sizes of cones in the volume creating different spaces for different programs. And this restaurant is a Japanese restaurant called YakiBinch Restaurant. Moreover, the word YakiBinch comes from a combination of Yakitori and Binchotan.

Popis projektu

The cooking of Yakitori involves skewering the meat with kushi (bamboo skewer) that is then grilled over Binchotan fire. Therefore, the use of bamboo material in this project connects with the kushi. Binchotan is a type of charcoal that is used for cooking as it produces strong heat with no vapor, special aroma and texture. Therefore, the tables are designed in a way where people can comfortably and enjoy cooking their food using the charcoal fire in the center of their tables.
