Idea projektu

The genesis, functional mutation, suits the entire Architectural procedural dimension to a more skillful union between past, present and future.
Regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the functional changes that can be applied, reality is confronted with something that sometimes distorts the identity and the context, leading to a progressive degradation of the new existing function. When the existential purpose of the function disappears, only a model that generates anonymous space remains. A spatial something, without neither function or purpose.
Keys to functional mutation are, the concepts – Dynamism, Versatility, Flexibility, and Sustainability – the fundamental principles – Probability and Possibility – and the foundation of action – Function – as well, the relationship between mutation and regeneration, survival concepts, which highlights the functional, formal, structural and composition limitations, inducing to a more appropriate intervention in situ.
There are no simulations, and the proposed systems provide reversibility. The mutation, also aims to transmit the same experience that was found first in the ruin, such as: the indirect access to the bathroom; the stairs ending up in the opening that was used as an entrance; and the sinuous rip/tear to the central viewpoint.

Popis projektu

The program makes an analogy to the previous house characteristics, the agriculture support. A metaphysical interpretation of a mutant shelter. Thus, the upper floor is intended for short stays, and the lower floor, with an itinerant purpose, supports quick stops.
The interior adjusted door of the lower right opening, from those who travel in the Schist Path, marks the entrance. Keeping the spatial freedom found in the ruin, upstairs exists, sleeping modules, locker area, toilet, a viewpoint and a garden. Downstairs, a bathroom, and an area to prepare meals, rest and socialize.

Technické informace

The reconstruction using the anastylosis method, reuses materials with belonging signs, with the intention of respecting their natural context. The brick to be added will be attached to the Schist by clamps, marking material and time. The pavement of local pine on compacted earth, makes an analogy to what existed on the upper floor, and to the agriculture purpose of the lower floor. The double-edged roof will be regenerated by a traditional gable roof system, with a scissor truss structure and covered by a half-cane tile, with the adding of industrially processed materials, such as laminated wood and cork.
