Idea projektu

The world entered a different phase with the industrial revolution. People moved away from the agricultural society and began to evolve into industrial society. The villages became empty and people began to migrate to the city. In fact, cities lost their old function in this sense and began to urbanize. As a result of urbanization, the increasing number of people in cities, as well as rapidly increasing and differentiating consumption habits and the development of technology have had a major impact on the development of industrial structures and industry. Today, although the rapid development of technology and industry brings various conveniences, production and consumption are rising at the same rate due to the increasing world population. As the population of the city increased, more resources were needed. Thus, the number of industrial structures increased. In this age of rapid production and consumption, unconsciously industrial activities, especially in order to keep costs low, cause great harm to nature and this situation has increased the amount of waste all over the world today.

If industrial wastes are disposed of in the nature, they cause a large number of harmful bacteria to emerge. These bacteria endanger the lives of many living creatures on land and in the sea, pollute nature and interfere with the air, causing people to catch various diseases through respiration. These wastes, which are harmful enough to disrupt the entire ecosystem, can cause great harm to the world economy and cause permanent health problems and infectious diseases if they are not disposed of properly. The most correct way to get rid of the wastes remaining from the various production in the factories; to ensure that these wastes participate in recycling. Today, in many countries that are aware of the great harm caused by human beings to nature, various environmental solutions are being tried to be produced. In this context, the wastes recycled to the industry through recycling do not pose a health threat and contribute to the economy through reuse.

The LOOP project, which has the potential to solve all these problems, is a pioneering project for sustainable architecture. The focus of this project, which is designed for our city, the world and our future, is to reduce the damage to the environment through recycling of waste and to create a more sustainable new habitat.
The LOOP project in the Çan district of Çanakkale was designed as a new vision against the thermal power plants and factories (industrial structures) in this region. LOOP, an industrial structure, is a project that has the potential to become a living space in the future and provide people with different experiences. In this way, the LOOP project shows how an industrial structure continues to function without damaging the environment and at the same time creating a new habitat for humans.

Popis projektu

FUNCTIONALITY
Today, domestic wastes, factory wastes and waste from thermal power plants in the Çan region are stored in LOOP. Then, these wastes are used for recycling and electrical energy is produced and LOOP project generates its own electrical energy. This electricity is then distributed to the houses in the Çan region, providing energy savings and benefits for the city.
In the future; Some of these collected wastes are stored in laboratories. Scientists conduct research and examinations in these laboratories. With the recycling of waste they discover a new architectural material. This material is a pioneering step in the future for sustainable architecture. This material, which is discovered by recycling of wastes, is then produced in laboratories. Then we start to weave new living areas with big machines. These habitats, which can spread as parasites without damaging the structures and nature of the Çan region, enable people to establish a symbiotic life between old and new in the future. Furthermore, the people who will live here establish a new relationship with this new material and experience a new perception with the visuality of these spaces. They discover new feelings of touch and feel in terms of user experience. In the end, this project is a continuous project from the present to the future. Most importantly, it creates a new architectural language and composition methods for architectural design.
As a result, the LOOP project; It will contribute to the prevention of unnecessary use of resources and depletion of natural resources by recycling waste in architecture, reducing the amount of waste, saving energy, preventing pollution, raising awareness on environmental issues in the society and creating more attractive and creative public spaces. In the future, it will provide people with an unusual habitat, and people will gain new experiences by perceiving these spaces. A new habitat example, LOOP; environment, humanity and architecture will take a big step. Thus, a bridge from today to the future will be built and the traces of the past will always be carried to the future.

Technické informace

The aim of the project is to produce a new architectural material and to use it in the future. This new material is knitted with huge 3D printers, creating a structure and living space. Thus, the structure created as a massive structure can be placed as parasite in many places in the city.
