Popis projektu

Claustrophobic environment and feeling of being burried in rubble
should evoke a state of absolute helplessness as well as hopeless situation.
Kill or be killed! Waiting for death...
These uncomfortable feelings should remind those which were felt by victims
but also survivors every second during this cruel and relentless conflict.

Technické informace

Two reinforced concrete slabs gradually cutting into the ground, one tilted slab creates an impression of a trench - feeling of anxiety.

Spoluautoři

Directional axes are designed from monolithic concrete, which by its homogeneity best confirms the principle of uncompromising line intersecting the park. Furthermore, the park is interwoven with a road network from a threshing floor that gives the place a more park-like character. Generally speaking, the design places emphasis on durability, endurance and "art of aging" for materials.
