Urban Movement and Structure System

Idea projektu

The project focuses on the urban movement and structure system of Nepal; especially at connection of ring road and the secondary roads. The main goal it to manage the traffic congestion at the Balkhu junction by managing the urban movement.

Popis projektu

The junction and the urban movement is managed as per public, heavy loading, private vehicles and pedestrian movement.

Technické informace

The road is divided into dedicated lanes and an overhead bridge is proposed for safe crossing of road. The bridge is designed as a place for activity rather than a thing to cross the road. The urban design elements are incorporated for a better urban environment.
