The idea of this project is to create a modern dormitory of an apartment type, designed to provide comfortable living for students, young professionals, or small families in the context of rapidly growing urban areas. The project is inspired by the need to offer affordable, functional, and aesthetically appealing housing that fosters community building and maintains a balance between urban infrastructure and natural elements. The primary goal is to integrate living spaces with recreation areas, such as landscaped courtyards with green spaces and pedestrian walkways, as seen in the provided visualizations. The project context is linked to addressing the shortage of housing in urban areas and the pursuit of creating a sustainable living environment.
The project includes a complex of multi-story buildings with apartments of various layouts, designed for one to four occupants. The main part of the complex consists of two primary blocks (as shown on the plan and 3D visualization), connected by a central courtyard that serves as a recreation area with benches, lawns, and landscaping elements. The project comprises the following elements:
Two residential blocks, 6 to 7 stories high, with a total area exceeding 10,000 m², including living spaces, common areas, and technical zones.
A central courtyard with pedestrian walkways, lighting, and recreation areas, where people are depicted sitting on benches and walking dogs (as shown in the facade visualization).
Underground parking and vehicular access routes, marked on the site plan.
Infrastructure elements such as entrance lobbies and auxiliary spaces located on the ground floor.
The project is oriented toward creating an inclusive environment where residents can enjoy both private spaces and common areas for social interaction.
The construction of the buildings is made of monolithic reinforced concrete, ensuring high strength and durability. For enhanced energy efficiency, modern thermal insulation materials such as mineral wool panels and multi-layered double-glazed windows are used, as seen in the facade visualization with dark window frames. The facades are clad with a combination of brick (brown on one block) and high-quality concrete panels (light-colored on the other), emphasizing aesthetic harmony and resistance to external conditions. The height of the buildings varies from 6 to 7 stories. The roofs are flat with waterproofing and the potential for installing solar panels for additional energy efficiency. Engineering systems include centralized heating, ventilation, and modern fire safety systems. The underground parking is designed for 120 vehicle spaces, meeting the needs of the complex’s residents.
