Project idea

The project talks about how to revive sustainable agriculture practices in a village of Ludhiana via architectural interventions.

Project description

The design scope was to incorporate Seed Banks, Warehouses, Processing units and Agriculture Laboratories as its core functions along with different sets of courtyards, pavilions and greenspaces forming a dialogue with the complex.

Technical information

The aim of the design was to use thick cavity walls(600mm) in order to protect the users from harsh climate and provision of brick jalis for ambient transfer of air.
