Project idea

These times of global pandemic and isolation, made us REFLECT and RE-THINK on how this problem affects housing and living.
So the question that was posed was the following: if we have entered an era of pandemics, how would they affect housing and living?
Then it began to be thought that the design of the cities of tomorrow should be considered to rethink the exterior and that it does not become a forbidden zone, but that it continues to be a safe and habitable space; Where it will also come into play to deal with other existing problems, such as health problems that persist in other regions of the world, modern epidemics, etc.
Where an URBAN DESIGN for the CITY should be considered where the population can move on foot, or by bicycle, or any vehicle that is not motorized and allows the individual to exercise, thus allowing the great flow of pollution from the streets to be removed from the streets. of combustion vehicles.
These thoughts led us to generate the theory that ARCHITECTURE and HEALTH go hand in hand.
And that is why, in the SET OF HOUSES, in addition to having these collective spaces that we are talking about, each house was thought with expansions to the outside, having that theory that Frank Lloyd Wright mentioned the outside inside and the inside outside.

Project description

The project seeks to respond to the problems of the current world, LIVING IN a pandemic, and all that this entails, that is why each problem caused by the pandemic was thought about to translate it into a solution in the project, having as a fundamental thing Living inside the house, that is why it was thought that each of the 12 houses has its green expansion in the open air to benefit the lives of the inhabitants of each one of them, they thought in each house work rooms to give response to the virtual communication that caused the pandemic, these are some of the examples that can be mentioned of how every detail was thought about to design the housing complex and make it habitable in a global pandemic

Technical information

The technical resolution of the project was essential to think about it and also to respond to the global pandemic, that is why the Case Study Homes were taken as a reference that tried to respond to the problems of that time and a rapid construction to later inhabit, it is for This is why the entire structural system is made of IRON PROFILES for rapid assembly, and the same for vertical circulations.
Then it is proposed that the houses will be made of plasterboard with their respective standards and insulators since they combine very well with the proposed steel structure, all this together form a system of rapid assembly and low cost.
It was also thought to give answers to the sunlight of each green expansion, it is there where it was decided to use veneered wood brisesoleils giving the whole a look that integrates with the naturalness of the river in front of it and the green that surrounds it.
This is how the whole works as a system and responds to the current issue and responds to an acceptable economic cost.
