Project idea

The philosophy behind the project is that fundamental functions should be accessed easily and one of the most important functions is the library. The main problem was that libraries in the MENA region are so far from neighborhoods and people can’t reach them without using transportation.

Project description

An adaptive project and a new representation of libraries in the MENA region that will be offered to all people without the need to use transportation. The project is divided into two main functions ; the library and the cultural research center which studies the cultural context and supports the library.
The project is adaptive which means that It’s a suggested solution to the unsafe distance and it could be adapted to other sites that have the same problems . Therefore , the project uses sustainability principles in order to consider today’s and future’s needs.
