Project idea

The project is about a space, designed for Post-Secondary students who are effected by depression and anxiety. Such a space would provide counseling, therapy not in an conventional way but also through the intervention of art and nature, that is by providing, healing gardens, clay, art, drama, dance, movement, therapy. To place my design elements and landscape features, i use the tool of Feng Shui. Feng Shui helps to channel the chi energy through color, shape, materials and textures in respective direction, which help to channel the spiritual positive energy in the place.

Project description

The research starts from studying outdoor spaces used for nature therapy and eco-art therapy. Scientific research have proof the benefits of nature therapy on physical and mental health. Nature gave birth to art, as the first artwork starts from copying nature; animals, plants, birds, marine animals and humans.
