Project idea

Můj návrh se snaží na první dojem vzbudit v návštěvnících bývalých uhelných dolů pocit, jaký tam zažívali sami dělníci. A to pocit strachu a respektu. Právě to totiž zažívali dělníci každý den, kdy se modlili, aby se z dolů vrátili ke svým rodinám. Snažím se navodit atmosféru, při které si každý návštěvník uvědomí, že zde opravdu několik desítek lidí zemřelo. Po šichtě však vše negativní opadlo a mezi dělníky se vrátila radost.. A právě ta je důvodem, proč je zde navržené technologické centrum. Centrum poznání, které uvnitř působí uvolněně a svobodně.


Since my proposal is part of the site of former coal mines, I would be tempted by my suggestion to take in the visitor's premises, which were used by the past miners. It was unfortunate if it came down from below, a ruin of direct influence, a straightforward direction, and a target for which every day worked. You can not forget that it is a place where the life of a number of minutes was last, therefore I was to refer to their proposal. After the shield always came a good shot, the new energy that shows the water, which is from the industrial dwelling, which is the technological center, gets to the surface, which is entirely the end of the shield.

Project description

Návrh se skládá z dvou budov zasazených do areálu bývalých uhelných dolů. Budovy svou velikostí i tvarem doplňují urbanistickou koncepci areálu a vystupují z něj jen pomyslné mohutné "oblouhy", které poutají pozornost každého, kdo do areálu vstoupí. Jedna budova má náplň samotného technologického centra. V druhé budově se nachází kavárna s výhledem na malé náměstíčko vytvořené kolem stávajícího komínu. Dále se v ní nachází multifunkční sál a muzeum areálu. Projekt jsem nejprve zpracovávala jako studii, dále zpracovávám menší budovu pro stavební povolení.

When designing for me, the right scale was very important. I wanted the building to fit perfectly in its shapes and sizes into the existing buildings to create a unique feeling and create a unique atmosphere that makes it very relaxing. At the same time I use the existing chimney as a prospect as part of the site tour.

Technical information

Obě budovy jsou navržené z ocelové konstrukce. Fasádní systém je tvořen provětrávanou fasádou s Cetris deskami a prosklené části ocelovými profily Jansen.


Both buildings have a supporting structure made of steel frames and columns. The black facade, as a reference to extracted black coal, forms facade cetris boards.
