Project idea

The main idea of the project is to create a Wellness Centre for the people. The site of the project is located in Dr. Reddy Memorial Complex in the city of Hyderabad.;Silence' is the term strongly associated with the site and the design aims to complement with this silence to achieve a peaceful environment. The main idea of the project is 'Little time with oneself'. It intends to create a healthy environment for the user to self assess themselves and find their 'Ikigai'.The focus is given more to the process and the part that the user follows in the journey to oneself with an affirmation to achieve the fruit of success at the end of the journey.

Project description

Today, the world is like a race. Right from the morning alarm, everyone just starts of running this race. The pace of this race is so fast that the idea of 'Slow and Steady wins the race' is slowly demising. Even in our sleeps, this race doesn't halt and we are preparing ourselves for the race tomorrow. This has led to problems of Mental Illness, Depression, Insomnia and other Health issues in our world. Researches shows that the best way to tackle these problems is to understand one's own self.'Self assessment' is the best solution to all these problems. Thus,there is strong need of projects like this in the modern era and i strongly feel the project is a need for the hour. Thus, the project has a great such to create a healthy and happy living environment.

Technical information

The design follows the modern construction techniques of R.C.C, along with natural and local materials and tries to create a dialogue between the former and the later. The design uses the 5 main elements of nature- Light, Water, Fire, Air and Earth to create a happy environment in the project.
