When it comes to art and architecture, especially architecture that goes beyond shelter and buildings, "in response to a need that is related to another world and has no charge in this world" (Beheshti, 1999: 13). ), The land of Iran as one of the oldest places of manifestation and manifestation of the truth of art and architecture is of great importance. Many historians of Islamic architecture believe that the Iranian world is the source of some of the most important innovations in the history of Islamic architecture and urban planning, and the identity of Islamic architecture and urban planning should be largely owed to Iranian Muslim architects. The mosque is one of the examples of buildings that appeared after the arrival of Islam in Iran and has always had a high position in Iranian architecture. As Iranian Muslim artists and architects have displayed the peak of their art and architecture in its construction and have created transnational and transnational buildings in the context of Greater Iran.
"Among the internal organs of each city and village, the place of worship has always had its special place and is more visible and significant than other organs; therefore, it is located everywhere in the center of the village" (Pirnia and Memarian, 2016: 250). The mosque is a religious, cultural and social center of long-standing culture that can never be separated from its social and urban structure. Therefore, in choosing the location of the mosque, major points should be considered in order to achieve the goals of designing and building the mosque, such as creating a suitable platform for human growth and excellence.
The land of the mosque in question is located in the area of ​​22203 square meters located on the southern front of Sardaran Boulevard with a width of 45 meters. , Has been determined. Golshahr endowment lands with an area of ​​approximately 90 hectares are one of the largest lands in Karaj in areas 5 and 9 of the municipality and are among the few areas of the city's development reserve. The land of Golshahr Mosque is located in the center of gravity of these lands. With the creation of the main green campus (urban plaza with an approximate area of ​​9.7 hectares) and the location of five thematic campuses, including campus campus, culture and art campus, education campus, sports campus and campus, and work around it, these lands in the future. Not so long ago, it will become a pleasant environment and an indicator.

The main goals
The goal of Golshahr Endowment Landowners is to build a mosque with ancillary and complementary services (mainly supporting and cultural functions) with the ability to provide services to the university campus and the general public, which can play a more prominent role in the complex's interactions by creating an urban space (Plaza). Golshahr, Karaj region and city to play.
In general, a number of objectives of the Board of Trustees of Golshahr Endowment Lands are:
1. Considering an independent, clear and symbolic existence for the mosque
2. Understanding the concept of the Iranian mosque and maintaining its pillars in the form of a contemporary mosque
3. Correct connection of the mosque as an urban symbol with the surrounding square and public spaces
4. Creating an urban space and an indicator of the scale of lands in Golshahr and Karaj, welcoming different spectrums of people
5. Having the ability to orient and model to design other elements and components of thematic campuses

Technical information

Guiding requirements
1. Paying attention to the phasing of the project implementation (phases one and two) and the independence of the implementation of each one, so that the first phase alone is complete and can be exploited.
2. Due to the fact that the site is divided into two parts (eastern and western parts) due to the passage of the rider, the issue is to calm the longitudinal movement of the rider and secure the transverse movement of the pedestrian from the desired street.
3. Taking into account the rules and regulations of the detailed plan of Karaj city and the rules and instructions of Golshahr development document, the loading of activities is as follows:

4. The proposed plan should be from the perspective of feasibility and ease of implementation, economic justification, updating and use of new and available technologies, attention to sustainable development pillars such as energy saving, use of renewable resources and. .. have the ability to defend.
5. Attention to the condition of the sidewalks passing through the site (in the eastern and unchanging eastern directions) and the sidewalk located on the southern border are considered as corridors connecting to the university campus and other parts of the square (Golshahr plaza). Also, due to the special nature of the sidewalks, it is not possible to cross the sidewalks and create a building mass in them. From a design standpoint, the two passing sidewalks are not part of the design area, and at the same time, the sidewalks should have the capacity for emergency relief vehicles.
6. The following set of rules and regulations is recommended for study:
a. Terms and conditions of mosque design prepared by mosque affairs
B. Decision No. 300/30676 dated 06/07/1387 of the Supreme Council of Urban Planning and Architecture of Iran
7. Paying attention to the direction of the qibla and the axes of vision is one of the necessities of the plan.
8. The commercial part (with the cultural approach) intended in zone number one, should be designed in such a way that it does not affect the appearance of the main building of the mosque and the purity of religious activity is obvious and understandable to the audience.
