Project idea
THE OBJECTIVE WAS TO DESIGN AN CONCEPTUAL COLLEGE FOR ARCHITECTURE IN JAMMU(INDIA). THE CONCEPT TO MAINTAIN A STEPPING LEVEL DIFFERENCE WHILE GOING TOWARD 5TH YEAR WAS THE MAIN CONCEPT BEHIND THE DESIGN.
Project description
FOR EACH YEAR THERE IS INCREASING LEVEL DIFFERENCE FOR EACH BLOCK RESPECTIVELY FROM 1ST YEAR TILL 5TH YEAR SO THAT THE STUDENT EXPERIENCES SOME KIND OF ACHIEVEMENT WHEN EVER HE/SHE CLEARS ONE PREVIOUS YEAR AND THE KIND OF DIFFERENT SURROUNDING THE STUDENT GETS DUE TO COLLAB OF TWO ADJOINING YEARS.
Technical information
THE PLAN IS A KIND OF CIRCLE AND EACH BUILDING IS GENERATED FROM THE CENTEROID OF THE CIRCLE WHILE GOING UPWARDS SPIRALLY.
THE BLOCKS ARE PLACED DIFFERENTLY PLACED BUT SOMEHOW ARE CONNECTED BY THE SPIRAL FORM WITH A HUGE GREEN HANDSCAPE IN BETWEEN.
