Project idea

The Project mediates the edge of a park by using Architecture at a threshold. It reinforces the site boundary thereby limiting its recession.

Project description

The Project aims at defining the Urban Edge of Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore. It explores infill design strategies where architecture sits at a threshold between old and new ideas and fights for the principles of connection. It further aims in limiting the recession of the area which over the course of recent developments becomes a threat to the vitality of historic urban context.
