The Museum of Architecture was designed in the historical quarter of Nizhny Novgorod. The main idea is to fit a modern building into the historical one, and for it to harmonize well with the surrounding environment.
The museum is located at the intersection of Malaya Pokrovskaya and Gogolya streets. On the territory there are recreation areas, guest parking, children's playgrounds, a separate entrance for unloading exhibits is also organized, there is a public transport stop nearby.
This museum specializes in exhibiting models for both students and the general public, and also houses the main model of the city and buildings that have been lost or have historical value. For this purpose, the facade is decorated with hanging panels in the form of folds.
The structure is made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Strip foundation. Hanging panels made of lightweight metal mesh. Decorative elements are faced with lime plaster. The walls themselves are made of natural brick. The roof is flat and exploitable.
