Idea projektu

The "Whispering Breeze" Educational and Training Center in Aswan is a visionary project designed to create a living knowledge hub focused on the aromatic plant industry. The center aims to integrate nature and architecture by incorporating living green walls that purify air, cool spaces, and enhance the architectural flow. These walls use smart irrigation and airflow simulations to foster a biophilic, climate-responsive, and sensory-rich environment. The building is constructed using sustainable rammed earth blocks, reflecting a commitment to environmental responsibility. The project's primary goal is to mitigate the economic challenges faced by Aswan, driven by decreasing agricultural production and over-reliance on tourism, by fostering innovation in the local aromatic plant industry and providing training for sustainable practices.

Popis projektu

The "Whispering Breeze" Center will offer a comprehensive and interactive learning experience for students, visitors, and professionals in the aromatic plant sector. The center includes multiple functional spaces, such as training rooms, a visitor exhibition center, a sensory room, and a restaurant. A key feature is the greenhouse, where visitors can engage in hands-on experiences, learning about aromatic plants and sustainable practices. Additionally, specialized labs such as essential oil quality control labs and aromatic plant gene banks will support research and development. The center is designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing with spaces dedicated to community interaction, including a community collaboration hub, a library, open workstations, and meeting rooms. The center will also feature lecture rooms and seminar spaces to offer structured learning on aromatic plants' role in both culture and the economy of Aswan.
