Idea projektu

The design concept of this factory is based on the idea of separation and connection within a circular form. At its core lies the administrative zone and other supporting functions, surrounded by the production hall. A deliberate break between these two creates a buffer zone that ensures spatial clarity and functional independence. The circular form is opened to emphasize the main entrance, creating a clear point of access and inviting flow. This intervention also allows the integration of a green and social space at the rear, transforming part of the industrial perimeter into a place for interaction and relaxation. Connections between the administrative core and the production hall are made through transitional passages that serve multiple purposes, offering flexibility for operational needs. Because of the building’s circular shape and orientation, zenithal lighting alone is not sufficient; therefore, natural light is enhanced through carefully designed façade openings to ensure a well-lit and energy-efficient environment.

Popis projektu

The project is designed as a fully integrated production facility for manufacturing doors, windows, shutters, and frameless glass. The entire workflow is carefully organized—from raw material intake to final product storage—ensuring efficiency, clarity, and hygiene at every stage. Materials arrive via truck deliveries and are first processed through a reception and inspection area. From there, they're distributed into dedicated raw material warehouses and manual handling zones, setting the stage for production.
The core of the facility is the expansive production hall, divided into specialized zones: one for door and window fabrication, another for shutter assembly, and a third for glass processing. Once complete, products are transferred to the finished goods warehouse, ready for distribution. Supporting the production process are a series of well-planned auxiliary spaces. Workers have access to separate changing rooms for men and women, complete with restrooms and a small laundry area. A central kitchen serves both a workers' cafeteria and a guest restaurant/café, with the capacity to prepare up to 100 meals per day—providing a healthy and convenient food experience on site. Administrative functions are housed in a separate wing and include private offices, meeting and conference rooms, a VIP lounge, a tea kitchen, and archive storage. Visitors and staff enter through a controlled main entrance, which includes a reception, security post, and an on-site medical room for first aid. Parking is provided for both passenger vehicles and delivery trucks. The facility also includes essential technical infrastructure: a heating and cooling substation, an energy room, compressor station, generator room, and storage for cleaning equipment and inventory—ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations.
Altogether, the design supports not just industrial productivity, but also a human-centered work environment. It’s a space where functionality meets comfort, and where high-quality production goes hand-in-hand with care for people and process.

Technické informace

he production hall is constructed using a steel structural system reinforced with internal elements to ensure high stability and load-bearing capacity. The roof is covered with sandwich panels mounted on the supporting structure and secured with bolts into the steel framework, providing thermal insulation and protection against weather conditions. The flooring system is composed of layered technical materials, including waterproofing, leveling compounds, and a durable top finish suitable for heavy industrial use and operational efficiency.
The administrative and auxiliary functions area is designed with well-structured building layers that ensure thermal comfort, acoustic control, and aesthetic quality. The roof includes thermal and waterproof insulation, topped with an aluminum covering that enhances durability and weather resistance. The ceiling is built on a lightweight supporting structure with integrated panel systems and finished with gypsum board, allowing for seamless integration of lighting and mechanical components. The floor system consists of thermal insulation, waterproofing layers, and a ceramic tile finish — offering both functionality and ease of maintenance for daily use.
