Idea projektu

The pavilion is a modular structure composed entirely of cubic units assembled in a grid system. Each cube has a specific function, including exhibition areas, tech play zones, educational rooms, and collaborative spaces. The design allows flexibility in expansion and rearrangement, supporting various activities during and after the event. The cubes are arranged around a central spine that acts as a circulation path and gathering zone, encouraging movement and interaction.

The structure is lightweight and easy to assemble, designed for temporary or semi-permanent use. Its open configuration enhances ventilation and natural lighting while creating a dynamic, engaging environment for users. Special zones are integrated for children, including interactive digital games and tech-based learning stations. The project is designed to be inclusive, educational, and adaptable, aligning with the spirit of innovation and public engagement that defines the Teknofest competition.

This pavilion explores a modular design concept using a composition of cubic elements to create a flexible and expandable spatial experience. Inspired by simplicity, adaptability, and connectivity, the cube becomes the core unit that shapes both form and function. Each cube serves a specific purpose—ranging from exhibition space and interactive zones to educational pods and tech workshops—allowing the structure to grow or shift according to program needs. The modular system not only facilitates easy assembly and disassembly, but also reflects a sustainable and future-forward design approach that responds to the spirit of experimentation and innovation.

The layout is structured around open connections, encouraging movement and interaction between units while forming a central public spine that enhances accessibility. By emphasizing a playful yet intelligent architectural language, the pavilion becomes an engaging landmark where people of all ages can discover, learn, and connect through technology. This approach aligns with the goals of the Teknofest competition, positioning the structure as a prototype for dynamic, community-driven spaces.

Technické informace

The pavilion is constructed using a modular steel frame grid system, allowing for fast assembly, disassembly, and adaptability. Each cube measures 3m x 3m x 3m and is fabricated from lightweight yet durable materials, including steel joints, composite wood panels, and recycled polycarbonate for translucent walls. The structural base is anchored on adjustable footings to adapt to various ground conditions, ensuring stability without the need for deep foundations.

The envelope system features double-skin facades in certain modules to improve thermal insulation, with some surfaces incorporating solar panels for energy efficiency. Natural cross-ventilation is encouraged through strategically placed openings and perforated panels. The modular layout enables flexible interior zoning, including VR/AR installations, interactive walls, learning hubs, and children's zones.

All electrical and data lines are integrated into the frame system, allowing smart integration of lighting, sensors, and digital media. The structure complies with safety, accessibility, and fire protection regulations, ensuring a secure and inclusive public experience.
