The idea of the residential complex is inspired by the nearby Nekrasov Library. The author's iconic poem "Grandfather Mazai" gives the project a special charm, creating an atmosphere filled with this work.
The project consists of detailed design of facades, courtyard and layouts. On the façade of the building, two windows are combined vertically to emphasise the height. The façade is divided into three parts, which adds dynamism. The deepening of the walls and the use of contrasting colour enhance the visual effect. The rock roof with dormer windows gives the facade a classical look, and this roof form also helps to create the atmosphere of Nekrasov's work. The corner of the house, which faces the intersection, is chamfered and highlighted with colour, adding emphasis. Completing the overall picture, decorative carved columns give the façade a classic and cosy look.
The concept of the courtyard is based on associations with Nekrasov's work "Grandfather Mazai and the hares": a river with bumps, a boat, hares. The whole space contains elements that refer us to the work. A children's town in the form of a boat. The path reminds us of a river, and the round platforms are bumps on which the hares sit.
On the ground floor there are office premises. Also, there are prams, sanitary units and trays for washing dogs' paws for the convenience of residents. An underground car park is provided. On the floor plans - comfortable, variable flats: one-; two-; three-room flats. Also on the 5th and 6th floors there are penthouses.
The building structure is made of load-bearing brick walls, reinforced concrete floor slabs, external walls are insulated.
