The reconstruction of the consumer services centre is becoming relevant in the context of the development of the Kamchatka Territory as a tourist and scientific center, requiring new public spaces to explore and preserve the unique natural heritage of the region.
The design area, in addition to the building of the consumer services centre , includes several other significant objects: the building of the Kamchatka Medical College, which is planned to be reorganized into a tourist base, and the monument to the Great Patriotic War - the T—34 tank, which not only serves as an important dominant, but also is a visual node that captures the intersection of streets.
When designing, I tried to preserve the legacy of modernism with its ribbon glazing and clean facades as much as possible. and also, when introducing new functionality into buildings, I tried to achieve the most spacious and ergonomic spaces that meet all modern norms and standards.
In the project, I emphasized naturalness and warmth, using natural materials, but complemented them with modern technologies to increase the stability of the building.:
-Natural materials in the interiors create a cozy atmosphere, visually and tactilely connecting the space with the environment.
-Glass composite window frames have improved thermal insulation, reducing heat loss without compromising natural light.
-HPL panels in the facade cladding and lamellas provided durability, weather resistance and a minimalistic aesthetic.
-Infrared lamps on the roof in use made it possible to create a comfortable recreation area, keeping warm even in the cold season.
This balance between natural harmony and innovation makes the project not only visually appealing, but also energy efficient.
