Project Title: Jude Benhalim Administrative Office Design
Institution: Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University
Academic Year: 2024–2025 (Semester 8)
Under Supervision Of: Dr/Eman Mounir

This project presents the design of an administrative office for Jude Benhalim, an established contemporary jewelry brand known for fusing modern aesthetics with cultural heritage with mixing silver with gold using only sustainable materials. The design draws inspiration from the essence of the brand itself—bold, elegant, and rooted in a rich design philosophy.

The core idea of the project revolves around creating a workspace that not only supports the brand's operational needs but also reflects its identity through spatial experience, material selection, and form. The design takes a modern-luxurious approach, blending refined textures such as marble and brushed gold with organic patterns and fluid geometry. Each area—whether it's the showroom, try-on zone, clusters, or CEO office—has been designed to serve a function while reinforcing a unified visual language.

Located in a context defined by urban sophistication and creative energy, the office layout was strategically planned to ensure smooth circulation, clear zoning, and optimal comfort for both staff and visitors. It introduces an experience where workspaces are not purely functional but emotionally engaging, embodying the values of creativity, empowerment, and innovation.

The project's primary objective is to develop an administrative interior that:

-Expresses the character and elegance of the Jude Benhalim brand.

-Supports efficient workflow and enhances user experience.

-Showcases a thoughtful fusion of form, function, and material richness.

-Sets a precedent for branding through interior design in contemporary office environments.

Ultimately, this project aims to offer more than just a workplace—it proposes a spatial identity that is aligned with the brand’s vision, inspiring both its team and clientele.

Popis projektu

The scope of this project covers the complete interior design of the administrative headquarters for Jude Benhalim, a contemporary jewelry brand recognized for its bold aesthetics, cultural depth, and commitment to sustainability. The aim is to create a workplace that reflects the brand’s identity, enhances operational efficiency, and offers a distinct and memorable spatial experience.

The design solution addresses the following key aspects:

Spatial Zoning & Functional Planning
The project includes the development of all major areas such as the reception, showroom, try-on zone, CEO office, administrative workspaces, clustered team areas, lounge, and break zone. Each space is organized for smooth user circulation and operational clarity, with a focus on balancing openness and privacy where appropriate.

Brand Representation & Identity
The interior concept directly draws from the brand’s character—strong, refined, and expressive. Materials, forms, and design motifs are selected to embody the Jude Benhalim identity, with recurring use of gold, stone, and sculptural elements inspired by the brand’s jewelry. The space becomes a direct reflection of the brand’s voice and values.

Sustainability & Ethical Design
As Jude Benhalim is known for using sustainably sourced gold and silver in its jewelry, the interior design reinforces this ethical approach through material choices and spatial planning. This includes integrating eco-friendly finishes, biophilic elements, and maximizing natural daylight, reinforcing the brand’s alignment with conscious design practices.

User Experience & Comfort
The design prioritizes both employee and client experience. Each area is designed for optimal usability, comfort, and interaction—whether it’s the informal break area or the professional clusters. Furniture, lighting, and acoustics are chosen to promote productivity and wellbeing.

Mood & Material Selection
The moodboard reflects a luxurious yet approachable atmosphere, using a palette of marble textures, brushed metals, olive green accents, and soft textiles. This rich material composition enhances the sensory quality of the space and connects with the brand’s design language.

Technical Implementation & Coordination
The design is supported by detailed architectural plans, scaled sections, and 3D visualizations to guide the execution process effectively. This ensures feasibility and clarity across design and technical teams.

Innovative Workspace Approach
Merging the functions of a jewelry showroom, creative hub, and administrative base, the project explores a hybrid office typology that not only facilitates day-to-day operations but also strengthens brand storytelling through space.
