The landscape design for the City Hall project envisions a civic outdoor space that embodies the principles of identity, openness, and inclusiveness in public governance. More than a functional extension of the building, the landscape is conceived as a vibrant gathering place where architecture, art, and nature converge to encourage civic engagement and cultural expression.
A defining feature of the design is a bridge structure that doubles as a terrace, offering elevated views of the surroundings while serving as a symbolic link between the built environment and public space. At the core of the landscape lies a sculpture set within a tranquil seating area surrounded by water elements, creating a contemplative focal point that invites reflection and connection with the symbolic essence of the City Hall.
To further activate the space, an open-air amphitheater has been integrated to accommodate community events, performances, and public discussions. The main entrance is framed by thoughtfully arranged seating and trees, guiding movement and enhancing both comfort and visual appeal.
The landscape strategy emphasizes accessibility, functional diversity, and aesthetic harmony—supporting a range of formal and informal activities. Ultimately, this design not only enriches the identity of the City Hall but also reinforces its presence as a civic landmark deeply rooted in the community.
