Idea projektu

The idea of this project is to reimagine transitional public spaces in commercial or hospitality contexts, transforming them into interactive, culturally rich hubs. Archgate Hub draws inspiration from historical Islamic archways, reinterpreting them into modern, flexible seating and activity zones. The goal is to create a welcoming and aesthetically immersive environment that encourages social interaction and spatial memory.

Popis projektu

The project consists of a compact interior space designed to function as both a waiting lounge and a flexible social hub. The layout includes dynamic seating inspired by arch motifs, foldable tables, green accents, and curated lighting. Modular furniture elements can adapt to different configurations, encouraging users to engage in casual conversations, informal meetings, or quiet reflection. The spatial experience is enhanced through the use of rhythmic arches, vertical planting, and layered textures.

Technické informace

The space utilizes lightweight modular seating constructed from MDF and upholstered in patterned fabric, echoing traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. Arched steel structures are mounted along the ceiling and walls to create visual flow and support hanging installations. Lighting is integrated into the arch frames using LED strips. The material palette includes matte-finish tiles, painted gypsum walls, and recycled wood panels, selected for durability and low maintenance in high-traffic interiors.
