Location: Sholinganallur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

This project proposes a sustainably designed school in Sholinganallur, a rapidly developing urban center.create a school environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, well-being, and community engagement—making the school truly the “heart” of its neighborhood

The proposed school is a G+3 educational facility located in Sholinganallur, designed with a strong emphasis on sustainability, community, and experiential learning. Constructed entirely from brick .

The plinth is raised to 0.9 m because it is a flood-prone area. Ramps and lifts are also provided to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities.

The school is provided with a green roof space, for chill classroom green cladding ,timber cladding used as a shade in west and south side of the school facade and primary , secondary and higher education are separated by providing required space .

The school houses 36 classrooms, accommodating students from Grade 1 to 12, with three sections per grade and a class strength of 30 students each.

Technické informace

The building is constructed with brick walls, RCC flooring, wooden cladding, green wall cladding, and colored polycarbonate sheets on the ground floor and second floor corridor to engage the kids. A cantilever beam is used on the second floor for structural support
