This project entailed a proposal for the conservation of landscape heritage in the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Conduct a comprehensive site analysis to understand the historical significance, cultural context, ecological features, and existing conditions of Ranmasu Uyana. Assess the structural integrity, stability, and conservation needs of archaeological ruins, ancient water features, and landscaping elements. Restore the ancient garden layout, pathways, water channels, and reservoirs to their original configurations based on historical evidence and archaeological research.

Introduction
Ranmasu Uyana, located in Sri Lanka, is a historically significant archaeological site known for its ancient garden complex dating back to the Anuradhapura era. Designing for heritage and conservation at Ranmasu Uyana requires a thoughtful approach that balances preservation, restoration, interpretation, and visitor experience. This project is a conceptual design proposal for the conservation of Ranmasu Uyana. conceptual design proposal was based on, Site Analysis and Assessment, Conservation Strategy, Preservation of Ruins and Structures, Landscape Restoration and Management, Interpretation and Education, Visitor Facilities and Amenities, Sustainable Management and Maintenance, Community Engagement and Partnership.

Applying the principles outlined in these archaeological charters, along with relevant international conventions and guidelines, can help guide the conservation, management, and interpretation of Ranmasu Uyana and other archaeological sites of cultural significance. It's essential to tailor conservation efforts to the specific historical, cultural, and ecological context of Ranmasu Uyana while adhering to the overarching principles of archaeological ethics and stewardship.

Conservation Strategy
Develop a conservation strategy guided by principles of minimum intervention, authenticity, reversibility, and sustainability.
Prioritize the preservation of original materials, architectural elements, and historical layers while addressing structural vulnerabilities and preventing further deterioration.
