Idea projektu

Connecting National park and Natural park with our location. By joining the Natural park and National park, we can activate this location through all seasons. Use the natural slope of the terrain as advantage. Inspiration was found in the environment itself. Context was the main source of inspiration. For the construction of the new tourist complex, natural materials were used that would fit into the location and emphasize its beauty. The aim is to keep the impression left by the location itself and somehow drown all the architecture with the location. This is how private villas were created, which are underground and above-ground facilities. They are oriented towards the sea and connect visitors with the approach and the environment. The idea is to draw attention to this part of the site and activate a new tourist route that will connect the sea with the national park. This is extremely important for this part of Croatia. In the area of the marina, there would be a tourist information center that would have daily visits to the national park. And the main emphasis would be on "mountaineering". This tourist complex is designed to activate people and provide a peaceful place to rest.

Popis projektu

By analyzing the location and its context, we extracted some striking motifs. The main concept of this location is the connection of the new resort with the Paklenica National Park. Therefore, the whole project is inspired by the natural environment in which they are located. Natural materials and forms were used that will not disturb the rhythm of the location. It is planned that this location will become another tourist spot, as well as that it can also direct visitors to other tourist places. Specific to this location is the proximity of the national park to the sea. Since it is not possible to build in the national park, this new resort would make a direct connection between the sea and the park. Near the harbor there is a semi-circular pavilion that contains a Chechen tourist information center. It is intended that from there people will be further informed about the Paklenica National Park and group tours.
The resort contains two zones of half-buried villas, with a private pool. There is also a residential area and a landscaped promenade with cafes and souvenir shops.
Analyzing the location, we found out that it could previously be used seasonally (summer period 4-5 months), but by building a new tourist center that connects this location with the Paklenica National Park, we are activating the location itself throughout the year.
