Idea projektu

The design was developed on the principle of sustainable architecture and combining modern architecture "using concrete, stone, steel..." and the old way of building "creating caves in the mountains."

In this way, old ways of life are adapted to our modern world, minimizing impacts on natural and urban landscapes. Integrating the construction method used in this area for centuries, both vertically and horizontally, to reconnect with the land and build sustainable habitats,

away from the summer heat and winter cold. A huge advantage of underground construction is climate control, the effects of the ever-changing weather can be largely ignored. This advantage inspired to combine the stable needs of wine production and storage with a safe and unchanged cave dwelling.

Popis projektu

The project draws inspiration from the surrounding geography, allowing guests to connect with nature and local culture through architecture that is fully integrated into nature. One of the main approaches to design is to 'integrate architecture with nature'. In this way, all the villas, apartments, hotel and marina are integrated within the mountain range in order to preserve the impressive rock forms. The removed parts of the rock form carved spaces adapted to the functions of users, circulation and the natural world.

Technické informace

The footbridge concept transforms the old introverted concept into a public space that connects the hotel, commercial facilities and the marina. in the form of a hanging walkway that connects air, land and sea, the design transforms the concept of a tourist complex into an ambient unity. horizontal passages and vertical fences dispel the idea of a lighthouse by melting them into thin lines including fragments of the past and a new layer of design.
