Idea projektu

The Flower Kindergarten is located in Limer, a water town in Hannover, Germany. On the other side of the river is the jungle, which retains pristine natural areas due to sparse development. Therefore, the concept of plants and ecology is continued to create a kindergarten belonging to the next generation. The use of flowers and light is brought into the room from the outdoors. We make the interior space a completely free and safe learning space. The monotonous separation and right angles in the space are avoided to allow children to have enough safe space to play indoors.

Popis projektu

Providing a natural and safe learning environment is our primary design philosophy. Children could see different natural landscapes through rooms shaped like petals. This design also brings good light to the interior space. Each teaching space is connected to a multi-functional classroom in the middle. Due to flower form design reduces the length of the corridor and it provides a more open and safe space for kids. There is a circular reading area above the center's active space and there will be plenty of light through the central patio to the house. We expect this design to extend the integrity of nature and ecology to the next generation. It also gives the next generation of owners more opportunities to learn how to coexist with the earth.

Technické informace

The main materials of the building are recycled wood and CLT. In addition to the roof there are also parts of solar panels and plants to achieve purifying air and electricity supply. We expect this design to extend the integrity of nature and ecology to the next generation. It also gives the next generation of owners more opportunities to learn how to coexist with the earth.
