Idea projektu
. Using the analogy of folding fabric, the proposed building reconnects with the past identity of the site as a cloth manufacturing area and finds new organic geometries that will accommodate the functions of a cultural centre and a dance studio while respecting and enhancing the context.
Popis projektu
The aim of the project is to give a new life to an abandoned building, revive the area and provide a space for artistic expression for the local dance communities.
Technické informace
The project is a restoration and extension of an existing building. The proposal features expressed steel structures, timber grids and curving concrete slabs.
