Idea projektu

Regarding the proposal for offices part, the tower itself reflects (volumetric and stylistic) the areas with different functions around. The building is made up of a vertical volume that extrudes the shape of the site
keeping different withdrawals compared to the three sides, to which were added three different textured blades.
The different approach of the blades that make up the tower is done in the sense of mediating the effect of the three spheresof different influence.

Popis projektu

The project site is at the confluence of urban areas with different textures:
-a business area developed along 2 main axes (Sos. Pipera and BVd. Barbu Vacarescu), a residential area with buildings of small to medium heights and a free land with potential for development.
The studied program was an office building with an electric car showroom integrated into a masterplan proposal targeting the site on which the building is located and adjacent site.
Thus, I proposed expanding the business sector and supplementing with related functions such as IT performance center
and a research center in the field of ecomobility and electric cars.
Moreover, I tried to put in dialogue the buildings that border the intersection (Sky tower,Nusco Tower)
I also had a special attention to the public space, right for whitch I created two urban square for the main sides of the site. These two spaces provide the access to the building, differentiated by functions.
Firstly, in the most exposed area, with the most favorable perspective along the Barbu Vacarescu Road I chosed to imagine the showroom part whitch I though to be a response to the dynamics of the boulevards.
The showroom image is highlighted by several gestures : (floating) ground level clearance, panoramic lifts, gaps and ramps whitch invigorate the experience of the interior space.
The access is made on an wide architectural promenade that continues to the interior space on all levels.
The epidermis of the showroom is completely glazed and architecturally illuminated to be an active presence both during the day and at night.
secondly, in the part adjacent to the Barbu vacarescu suspended road I integrated functions where external can be used: Talk rooms is talks, conferences, public food, common spaces and leisure, but also a minimal exhibition that presents for educational purposes the evolution of electric cars.
In completing the functionalities I already mentioned there is the third wing made up for housing service in the apart-hotel care system. This part is put in dialogue with the residential sector and benefits of
high comfort standard: spa, gym, common areas, restaurants, and a
favorable opening towards Herastrau Park.
The last floors spaces continue with multifunctional care destinations openning a comprehensive perspective on the city.

Technické informace

The marking of the functions in the volume presence was done by using different facades for each sides.
The aesthetic role also has the purpose of protecting the interior space (acoustic and thermal).
