Václav Havel
(5. října 1936 – 18. prosince 2011)
byl český dramatik, esejista, disident a kritik komunistického režimu, později politik a státník. Byl devátým a posledním prezidentem Československa (1989–1992) a prvním prezidentem České republiky (1993–2003). Stal se čtvrtým Evropanem, kterému se dostalo cti, umístění jeho busty v budově amerického Kongresu.
Bořek Šípek
(14. června 1949 – 13. února 2016)
byl světoznámý český výtvarník, architekt, designér a vysokoškolský učitel, známý zejména jako tvůrce skleněných uměleckých objektů a nábytku nebo jako hlavní architekt správy Pražského hradu z období prezidenta Václava Havla (1992–2002). He experimented with unexpected and often opulent shapes. Šípek is said to be the father of “neo-baroque”.
Karel Smejkal
(17. prosince 1976)
Karel Smejkal is an architect, writer, scientist and university teacher. Formal Vice-Chairman of the Czech Architects Association (2017-19), Eastern Europe Director of the American Institute of Architects Continental Europe chapter, head of the research team and founder of applied psychology of architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
