Work description

In the frame of a research project we generate Single Event Effects (SEE) in electronic parts (most of all microcontrollers and power transistors). Those SEE are normally encountered in satellite environments, we generate them by using a pulsed laser diode. In the research project we investigate how the observed effects can be used to measure the sensitivity of the device under test to cosmic radiation. In this context the work will mostly be in the area of designing and programming of embedded systems, measurment preparation and data analysis. The team consists of one postdoc, one PhD student and several master students.
