Any participant in the INSPIRELI AWARDS competition can ask a member of the international jury for feedback on his/her competition project. Jurors are assigned across continents at a ratio of one juror per student. The resulting gallery is a unique architecture textbook, created free of charge by those who wish to participate in our project and contribute their work to the education of the up and coming generation. It's amazing to see such intensive work and its attempt to conceptualize and materialize the complex phenomena of urban-rural integration. The whole process could have included more engagement from the residents of rural and urban and their interactions. The proposals are also very much based on building infrastructures, could it have avenues to integrate nature by open spaces through the typologies for spatial re-organization? I appreciate the thorough analysis and volume of work, it's…

advisorI appreciate the idea of emphasizing the usage of the park by 'families', it promotes family spirit in an era where people are better left alone by themselves. The choice of curvature in designing the built forms and pathways surely reveals its relation to the existing and natural features. The 2D (plans) drawings show a merge with nature, however, I believe the three-dimensional expressions could have been more submissive; aligning parallel with the contour lines that exist could have made it…

advisorDesign: Making use of site context to develop the design concept is commendable and very well thought. Form wise, the design could have been more explored, considering water the design doesn’t showcase easy fluidity. Also, requirements of an science center should have been explored and used for shaping the design. Design Communication: The description lacked clarity in terms of requirements of science center architecturally which reflected in design. Core concept or star of the design seemed…

advisorthe idea of the Form Follows Environment is very interesting. Exploring designs with environmental considerations and what is very unique is the exploration of renewable natural energy in the form of buildings, excellent ideas and design decisions.

advisorIt is a very well designed proposal for a mixed use building. I am not sure that it would be more "pandemic safe" than many other commercial and residential buildings of its kind. Neither am I sure than it promotes mental health and well-being in particular. It is designed in a quite tradition way, with some sustainability measures highlighted. Good use of natural lighting and ventilation. I would have liked to see more shading as the huge glass facades would generate lots of heat and…

advisorInteresting transformation project, that adds value to a very congested and populated area. You are introducing block zoning for better wayfinding, organization and access. Maybe a tad rigid that inhibits a more organic development of the area, over time. It is very rational thinking and design, very much like the overall plan layout. There is a 10 % increase in green areas, which I think is too little. I would like to have seen more integrated greenery and natural drainage incorporated in a…

advisorThe project is a positive energy center. The design intention is to create the spaces to relieve stress, stay healthy, increase strength and flexibility. How this has been achieved is to be explained. What are the strengths? There are specific achievements tried such as human flow, orientation, privacy, visual enjoyment, sound, permeability, and materiality etc., which are the physical and non-physical elements in creating the appropriate ambience. Overall, the graphical presentation is…

advisorThe project has good initial ideas and research which examines and provides answers to the specifics of the local context and the perceived advantages and disadvantages of the location. However, the main project ideas are not completely visible through the drawings (e.g., distribution of the proposed different building typologies, characteristics of public spaces and their connections with other proposed contents, etc.). Additional content along the pedestrian paths in the zones of…
