Alcadrain was founded in 1998 as a family-owned Czech company called Alcaplast.

In 2022 has changed its name while establishing Alca Group. It is the largest manufacturer of sanitary ware in Central and Eastern Europe, producing more than 600 sanitary ware products on the area of over 60,000 m2 - valves, traps, WC systems, shower drains, floor drains, toilet seats and other products.

Alcadrain is expanding rapidly, which is mainly due to the high quality and top design of the premium brand Alca products, which the company designs itself and has won a number of awards such as Red Dot Award 2014 for the FLAT flush plates or iF Design Award 2018 for touchless flush plates NIGHT LIGHT.

For the fifth time in a row, the company defended its position among the 100 most successful Czech companies in the Czech Top 100 competition, and in 2019 the company's owners - Radka Prokopová and František Fabičovic - won the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 award in the Czech Republic.

Alcadrain products are used both in new buildings and also during renovations. Technical experts from Alcadrain give emphasis on reliability and faultlessness of all the products. The quality of all the products is tested before they leave the factory in Břeclav.

Alcadrain is part of the Alca Group along with two other companies - Alcapipe, the largest Czech manufacturer of piping systems, formerly known as FV Plast, and Alcafix which manufactures modular system profiles for the construction and renovation of bathrooms and toilets.
