Work description

We seek support in our thermal design and characterization lab where we do materials characterizations and (if required) develop test rigs. Often, we combine measurement data with physicals models or use models to improve the accuracy of experimental data. For our main research partner who is in the medical field we characterize e.g. animal blood with respect to its thermal-fluidic properties, i.e. its density, viscosity, thermal conductivity and heat capacity. We expect from a highly motivated trainee:- previous experience in performing lab work- previous experience in documenting lab work in detailed technical reports- not afraid to correlate physical models with experimental data - a precise and meticulous approach to work - passionate about taking care of details - independent working style - to collaborate with all members from our research team and with external research partners - have a understanding of basic physics/mathematics/engineering/materials sciencesMost of the work relates to our medical project together with https://www.medyria.com/
