My architectural focus is born from the sensations generated by a space. Whether open or closed, the interior and exterior factors are ordered and controlled by the design generating a particular atmosphere. The architecture must transmit something, and that something is decided by the architect, when it is relevant and well executed it becomes a great design.

Working to serve communities who can benefit the most from thoughtful and efficient research + design yet have the least access to it. Through my work, which includes small scale experimental projects and public space installations, I advocate for spatial justice in the pursuit of inclusive and resilient cities and communities.

When establishing a design, every architect will consider what exactly they want to communicate by it.

Personally I search the Purpose of a design.

It is to decide on a strong focal point that will drive all the architectural system, draw everybody’s attention and create that perfect balance and rythm. This purpose or concept reflects in the design creating this way new buildings and the spaces in and around them. A living organism!

In quest for creating spaces compatible with the essence of nature and human beings, and using new technologies and innovative, compatible materials, in order to improve the quality of spaces for the man of today and future

MAIN FOCUS IS HOW IN ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN PROCESS ALL REQUIREMENTS AND FUNCTIONALITY IS CONNECTED. ITS ALL ABOUT DETAILS AND SOVLING ISSUES SMARTLY. 

In my prespective and point of view, the influence of the
designe can have affect and influnce the daily life of the
people.
And for this reason each new project is a challenging
project, which need to have it’s own charachter and can
improve the general life of the use

My special architectural focus would be on the residential projects, I can say that I run an Architectural Consultancy "Riaz Associates" in Pakistan for 30 years (1984 -2014), in the city of Lahore, one of the most populated city of the country and the capital of the biggest province 'Punjab'.

  My interest was on individual housing and the housing schemes projects. My focus was on to design custom homes for the particular clients according to their family requirements, budget with the environment of the location. My primary interest was on a practical, well lighted and a space full of comfort. I attended many juries in different universities in Pakistan.

  With my experience and interest in reading magazines, I started publishing an architectural and art magazine (quarterly) "Designers Style" in 2011 as publisher and editor in chief and it is running till today. It is one of the top 3 publications in the country and I am honoured that it has articles from around the world and is sent to many places outside the country. Because of my dual nationality I travelled a lot to many places especially Canada and I moved to Toronto in 2014. I am managing my magazine team from here and to learn more I got admission in Ryerson University, Chang School of Continuing Education in the subject of publishing in 2017. Brett is a licensed architect, artist, lecturer and gallery manager active in New York, Philadelphia, and Seoul. His interest spans across multi-media and scales, speculating on complex structural tectonics, material technologies, and fabrication methods in both architectural practice and discourse.
