IAESTE internship Visa papers will be prepared by IAESTE Turkiye Head Office. Type of Visa: The citizens of some countries who will travel to Turkey for a short term do not need a visa according to the Visa Exemption Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and those countries. HOWEVER, if you come to Turkey for education, internship or working, no matter how long you will stay in Turkey in any case you have to get a visa related to your purpose of visit. Tourist visas or etc. cannot be accepted. In connection with this, you need a passport because identity cards cannot be accepted. As you come to Turkey within the scope of an internship program, you need to apply for an IAESTE internship visa" under the category of Student/Education Visa in the type of visa section. Work description
Eti Gübre premises consist of sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, ammonia, fertilizer, hydrometallurgical production plants and auxiliaries as well as phosphate rock mine sites. Each intern will be assigned to work in a dedicated production plant within a certain timeline. They will also have time to discover other production plants in the overall premises. They will get a chance to assist with a variety of processes, including crushing, grinding, separation, crystallization, evaporation, filtration, leaching, solvent extraction, ion exchange, electrowinning, catalytic reactions, absorption, adsorption, etc.Their internship will be initiated with a safety training. They will get process description, process flow diagram (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) of their dedicated production plant. They will have chance to learn the unit operations, process reactions, real-time values, trends and efficiencies. They will recognize process equipment like pumps, tanks, valves, agitators, motors, filter, conveyor, thickener, reactor, etc as well as instrumentation&automation devices like, temperature&pressure transmitters, level sensors, flowmeters, They will work closely with chemical and process engineers and observe how the production is followed up, set-up and managed. They will do hands-on operations like open/close valves, start/stop pumps, measure temperature/pressure/level, testing pH and so on. They will assist in the basic interpretation and verifying compliance with engineering standards and practices.
