Any participant in the INSPIRELI AWARDS competition can ask a member of the international jury for feedback on his/her competition project. Jurors are assigned across continents at a ratio of one juror per student. The resulting gallery is a unique architecture textbook, created free of charge by those who wish to participate in our project and contribute their work to the education of the up and coming generation. We are honored that you are sharing your designs and experiences here.
it's a very good idea to base your approach on the deconstruction of this place and to use the deconstruvism movement to rebuild this area. This during deconstructivism is much more than a matter of building form. I suggest you to deepen the subject (Deconstruvism) both as a concept and as an arcitectural movement and adopt it for this project
Hello dear participant, you have a really good intention in your project and the insertion of the proposed design with the existing city is well realized, both as solution and from the view of 3d rendering skills. I would to recommend you to create some shaded areas along the coast pedestrian circulation (could be some pergolas), because, after 2 p.m., maybe earlier, the public space will be impracticable for few hours because of the sun heat. The problem of the car parking could be resolved…
First of all, congratulations on this project with a strong concept that focuses on the history of the port of Beirut. I think your project has great potential. Each of the buildings on your proposal is conceptually strong. The strength of the project is using architectural interventions as a reminder of the past. As such, preserving the silo building as a monument representing the deceased and proposing a bridge to let visitors explore the explosion spot are great ideas. Hence, this makes…

Heterotopic spaces are real life practical spaces. Incorporating bricks with greenery to design spaces is a good approach. The idea of staggering the space will attract kids to the space. Reusing of materials is a good approach, as designs in the future needs to be much more environmental oriented. Points to Improve. When designing public spaces, thought process should run along, WHO are group of users? WHY people need to come here? WHAT will the designed space could cater people? HOW will…
I really admire your project and how you integrate it it the site, I would if give us more explanation about the plans the aeration, ventilation, You did a great work
Hi, Maream Merza First of all, I would like to appreciate you for your Sketching Skills through which you made it too easy for us and even for a layman to understand your research work. Secondly, you have proposed your project with relevant technical details. When coming to the design part you could have explored it more with the study of the main design elements of Roman Architecture and Modern Architecture. There is a lot of information in the presentation which needs to be placed in a…
Hi Marie, This is a delightful little project that has so many applications. In addition to being used in parks, I can see this in urban areas where natural trees may not exist or the conditions are difficult for vegetation to grow. This would also open the opportunity to possibly using photovoltaics in the membranes to power lighting for the immediate area for security or landscape lighting.
Good start, keep going. Always keep your project reel and simple. Simplicity is the most popular way to achieve a good project. In my opinion simplicity is beauty.
Good afternoon. The concept, in my opinion, is quite well developed and presented. In my opinion, it is worth working out the main panoramic view of the port from above in more detail (image 1), maybe add bright colors or add functional zoning schemes, territorial location in thin lines. You also can add several panoramic images from different viewpoints.
