Thank you for providing an overview of your project, "Interconnect: Knowledge Hub in Kandy." Based on the information provided, I can offer the following feedback: Strengths 1. Contextual response: The project seems to stem from a thoughtful analysis of the existing site conditions, underutilization of space, and the need for a proper entrance and wayfinding. Responding to contextual needs is a commendable approach. 2. Adaptive reuse: Incorporating and repurposing the historical police…

Although one appreciates your initiative to explain your form-making process, it would have been interesting to see other aspects of architecture explored much further. I struggle to understand the relevance of your goals due to insufficient context regarding the issue you are attempting to address through your architectural intervention. Therefore, a site analysis should have been useful. Indeed, the protrusion and recessing of facades help in breaking up what could have been a bulky form;…

Hi Zakia Haque Maliha. Interesting project. But I would like to know more. I see that your site analysis is done but some text to explain your exploration and findings would be very helpful to understand your decision making. Can you elaborate on the chosen site? Why is it significant, why place a civic centre here? All the best. Holding thumbs for you

Hi Selim Kelmendi, very interesting building. In your description can you elaborate on the history of the existing building. You also mention the Peja exhibition of cars, but you don't provide any detail on it. Why is it special, why is it an annual event. Is there any history to this? Some technical details on the construction will add a lot to your project. How do you fix the new to the existing? Graphically I would suggest that you make it clearer what is existing and what is new. You also…

Many times, we tend to move towards new enterprises in our social development while leaving behind a trail of unresolved issues. We keep reaching out for new solutions as if we hope that the issues left behind will magically disappear, only to find that the further we go, the bigger the problems left behind us become. This is why I would like to commend you for having the courage to look back into the shadow that the past modern era cast on our societies today. By addressing the consequences…

Dear Tasmia, The proposed A Hub for Entrepreneurship and Dormitory Living project respects the urban structure of the given location. With its mass, volume and block structure, the project follows on from the neighboring East West University. This chosen solution helps the integration into the already existing urban structure and its regeneration. The total mass of the block is successfully captured by its staggered floors that provide views. In the project, I appreciate the emphasis placed…

The first look of the visual was eye-catching, when looking at the project description it made me more excited to learn about the delivery of the aim said so. Diagramming was quite impressive. To the form, I appreciate it but the sustainable approach, innovative materials, efficiency of building, flexibility, and green technology are lacking in the project, either it's not done or not provided. Vertical shifting of levels was tremendous and created big impression. I have some tips for project…
