Many times, we tend to move towards new enterprises in our social development while leaving behind a trail of unresolved issues. We keep reaching out for new solutions as if we hope that the issues left behind will magically disappear, only to find that the further we go, the bigger the problems left behind us become. This is why I would like to commend you for having the courage to look back into the shadow that the past modern era cast on our societies today. By addressing the consequences…

Dear Tasmia, The proposed A Hub for Entrepreneurship and Dormitory Living project respects the urban structure of the given location. With its mass, volume and block structure, the project follows on from the neighboring East West University. This chosen solution helps the integration into the already existing urban structure and its regeneration. The total mass of the block is successfully captured by its staggered floors that provide views. In the project, I appreciate the emphasis placed…

The first look of the visual was eye-catching, when looking at the project description it made me more excited to learn about the delivery of the aim said so. Diagramming was quite impressive. To the form, I appreciate it but the sustainable approach, innovative materials, efficiency of building, flexibility, and green technology are lacking in the project, either it's not done or not provided. Firstly, I would like to congratulate the project and for tackling such an important topic in these times as the revitalisation of degraded areas. It has been a pleasure to analyse this project and it points in the right direction to exploit the potential of a neglected area in the city centre. Bringing a degraded part of the city back to life and complementing it with new functions is a very good direction in creating multifunctional facilities in areas in need of revitalisation. The lump of…

The implementation of such a project implies a broader look. This project must be a generator symbol of new energy, a place of meeting, exchange of opinions and integration not only for the community but also for possible visitors and tourists. From this premise we have to take into account the context as it has been described, it stands between two lakes, a fantastic and evocative place by its nature, the building has to relate to the landscape not only through the large windows but also…

Adaptive reuse of the heritage building is a great idea. The contemporary intervention inside the old envelope creates a meaningful dialogue between the past and present. The fluidity of space, sensible sensible use of contemporary materials will offer splendid experience. However, it would be more appreciated if there is a conservation plan for the old façade and new interventions are kept reversible and free standing.
