Project idea
Located in the site connected to the Smíchov transport Terminal and the new Smíchov City development. The main challenge of the area is to connect the transport terminal to the new pedestrian footbridge to Císařská louka and to deal with the busy Strakonická Street.
Project description
Strakonická Street is hidden in the tunnel, which removes a significant barrier in the area and creates a new connection between the Vltava and the buildings. The design relates to the industrial history of Smíchov, which became home to factories with the Industrial Revolution. Radlická mlékárna (old dairy) is maintained in the area, which is a new significant element of the new pedestrian street that connects the transport terminal with the footbridge to Císařská louka.

As this is urban project, the technical elements have not been designed in detail.
