Project idea
Through the process of surveying the actual area and the situation of Vietnam railway. The proposed architectural solution to create urban aesthetics. To promote regional development. So, internationalize, take the idea from the lotus image, soft lines and curves in line with the lotus combination of tight lines, ensure security for visitors, convenient carry luggage. The design focuses on the combination of waiting spaces combined with entertainment. Da Nang Railway Station is not only a tourist lane, but also a symbol of the railway's industry, and a balance of transportation in Vietnam.
Front part of the station and all details to design inspired by shape of Lotus. The second part of the station and all the shape-movement to construct the statin was transfered from Lotus’s leaf.
Project description
This is my graduation project. I have finish and submit for university in 6 months and got 2nd place of the top 10 student of architecture falculty in Hong Bang International University.
Technical information
The concept and idear came up with freehand sketch and physical modeling for first look then i started with autocad for drawing and caculated all the layout of plans. For visualization of the project, i used Autodesk 3D Max for modeling and rendered by Vray form Chaos. Then post production in Adobe Photoshop.
